What is needed when you buy the cricut expression…any vinyls or cartridges to start and be able to do what its suppose to do?

Most Expressions come with at least one cartridge. You do need cartridges for the expression to work. You also need a mat that too typically comes with it. Then the product you are going to cut. Whether that is vinyl, or paper you have to provide that.
